Top Ten Tuesday - Books I Feel Differently About After Time Has Passed

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature created at the lovely The Broke and the Bookish.
Every Tuesday we're given a new topic to create or top ten list.
Today's topic is: Ten Books I Feel Differently About After Time Has Passed
(less love, more love, complicated feelings, indifference, thought it was great in a genre until you became more well read in that genre etc.)

All of these books has been a 5 star read for me, but some I grown to love even more, and some I don't think I would rate as high today. Since most of my feelings are about the same, and since I don't like to repeat repeat myself, I'll only leave an explanation as to why on my number 1 picks. :)

Four Books I Love Less After Time Has Passed

4. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
3. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
2. Easy by Tammara Webber

1. Obsidian (Onyx & Opal) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I loved the first three books when I read them. And I mean LOVED (Obsidian was my no 1 book in 2012). But I somehow lost that love, and I haven't even read book 4 & 5 yet. I will, someday, but I'm just not in a hurry. It's a bit sad though, cause I still remember that feeling I had when I first met Katy & Daemon.

Four Books I Love More and More with Each Day

4. Demon Road by Derek Landy
3. Vicious by V.E. Schwab
2. Mythos Academy series by Jennifer Estep

1. Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke
This was actually not a 5 star the first time I read it. I rated it a very tentative 4 star. But after re-reading it a couple of years later, I kind of understood the greatness about it. It continues to grow in my eyes, and I fall more and more in love with it every day. April Tucholke is a bit of a literary genius in my eyes, and man, this series is amazing.

  1. Something happens to contemporary fiction over time...it grows less contemporary, maybe?
